The cooler version of Smash Bros. I’ve been a fan ofSuper Smash Bros.since the original Nintendo 64 release way back in 1999. Ever since then I’ve wavered in and out of being obsessed with the game to dropping it completely at times (thank you tripping inBrawl). But as I’ve grown older and gotten more into indie games, I’ve always felt that there was an untapped market for taking theSmash Bros.concept and giving it an indie skin....

Doctor Wily is one of my favorite videogame villains ever. You have to admire the man’s persistence. He’s a guy who knows what he wants (global domination) and he’s not going to let little things like repeated failure and a lack of practical robot concepts stop him from succeeding in his aims. Custom toymaker Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy thinks that he would have been more successful if he’d just built himself a robotic suit directly under his control to fight the Blue Bomber....

From The Last of Us and Uncharted to The Avengers Just over a year ago, Square Enix announced a newAvengersproject in production at Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal as part of a multi-year, multi-game arrangement with Marvel. Typically Nintendo rolls out My Nintendo rewards for upcoming or recently-released first-party games, but this time they’re returning to July 2022’sXenoblade Chronicles 3, which just hosted a newish DLC.The reward is a coaster setpriced at a whopping 700 Platinum Points, and it comes with four coasters and two sticker sheets. The champ is feeling Jaded This past weekend saw promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) host its AEW Revolution 2022 pay-per-view, emanating from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. By all accounts, it was a great show, featuring the long-awaited showdown between MJF and C.M. Punk, as well as a barn burner between Chris Jericho and everybody’s dad, Eddie Kingston. For video game fans, however, (of which AEW has many), the biggest headturner of the night was perhaps the appearance of stellar AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill, who was scheduled to defend her title against judoka ass-kicker and number one contender Tay Conti....
