The indie game party fighter Bounty Battle releases next week

The cooler version of Smash Bros. I’ve been a fan ofSuper Smash Bros.since the original Nintendo 64 release way back in 1999. Ever since then I’ve wavered in and out of being obsessed with the game to dropping it completely at times (thank you tripping inBrawl). The ‘geek’ question: hobbyist vs. intellectual

The one thing that has always bugged me the most about sports is the use of the word “we.” As in, “We won!” No, you didn’t win, John Sofaturd from Nothingsville, Ohio. You didn’t do anything except sit on your ass and obtain a contact high from the fruitful efforts of someone else who worked their ass off fortheirsuccess. To my disappointment, gamers can sometimes have this same habit. Not too long ago, a friend of mine posted an image on Facebook associating the reclusive and unorthodox lifestyle of Nikola Tesla with that of a gamer/comic lover/D&D player, so on and so forth....

These custom Mega Man toys are incredible

Doctor Wily is one of my favorite videogame villains ever. You have to admire the man’s persistence. He’s a guy who knows what he wants (global domination) and he’s not going to let little things like repeated failure and a lack of practical robot concepts stop him from succeeding in his aims. Custom toymaker Donald “KodyKoala” Kennedy thinks that he would have been more successful if he’d just built himself a robotic suit directly under his control to fight the Blue Bomber....

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy creative director leaves Naughty Dog

From The Last of Us and Uncharted to The Avengers Just over a year ago, Square Enix announced a newAvengersproject in production at Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montréal as part of a multi-year, multi-game arrangement with Marvel. We’ve heard so little about those planssince the initial tease, I had forgotten any of this was in the works. But, to quickly recap, theAvengersgame will tell an “original story,” “introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come,” and include “characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise....

AEW’s Jade Cargill rocks awesome Mortal Kombat cosplay

The champ is feeling Jaded This past weekend saw promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) host its AEW Revolution 2022 pay-per-view, emanating from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. By all accounts, it was a great show, featuring the long-awaited showdown between MJF and C.M. Punk, as well as a barn burner between Chris Jericho and everybody’s dad, Eddie Kingston. For video game fans, however, (of which AEW has many), the biggest headturner of the night was perhaps the appearance of stellar AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill, who was scheduled to defend her title against judoka ass-kicker and number one contender Tay Conti....
