Mobile Monday: Missile Command: Recharged

AR-cade Despite my overall indifference to the number of television shows and movies finding their inspiration in entertainment from the ’80s, I’ll never grow tired of the neon laser art direction that broke big during the decade. Give me some Broadway D typeface in neon pink, a solid white Italian blazer with no vent, and polarized sport sunglasses and I’m in heaven. ThatMiami VicemeetsTronchic just can’t be beaten and every time I see the glow of the channel lettering at the check-cashing shop downtown, I can’t help but wonder why Ubisoft hasn’t portedFar Cry 3: Blood Dragonto Switch....

Pokemon Legends sure seems like a mainline game: do you want this to be the new norm?

Sure, just build on it ThePokemon Legendsmainline entry debate raged on as soon as it was announced, but a new tweet provides some ammo on the pro main side of the argument. It starts in 1999 withPokemon RedandBlue(look at this western disrespect ofGreen!), then goes intoYellow, and from generation to generation, with the “third entry” games included, as well asPokemon Let‘sGo, and generational remakes....

Project Eve looks like a wild action romp for PS5

Otherwise known as that weird action game from the PlayStation Showcase During today’s PlayStation Showcase stream, my mind went all over the place while watching new footage forProject Eve,a previously announcedbut newly-confirmed-for-PS5 action game in a “ruined Earth.” The story seems like it could be all over the place, but the slicing-and-dicing foundation seems fun enough — especially that backflip dodge. Depending on who you ask, this was one of the best (or potentially worse) games shown....
