Preview: Battlefield 3 (multiplayer)

In our earliersingle-player previewofBattlefield 3, I found a few points of contention within the slice of the game’s campaign that I played. Most notably, I disliked control taken away from me in different ways, from quick time events to on-rails levels that relied mostly on my appreciation of the graphics over the actual gameplay. However, for everything that that the campaign seemingly lacked, the multiplayer portions that both Hamza Aziz and I got to try left us pretty highly impressed....

Resident Evil 4 update removes ‘Scope Warp’ speedrun hack

Enough of your ghostly shenanigans Capcom has released a new update for its smash-selling remakeResident Evil 4, bringing with it a selection of bug fixes that, among other things, removes thepreviously published “key item” glitch, and also, (unfortunately for some) puts a stop to a sneaky wall-walking hack. The new patch, available now on PC and consoles, features fixes to several platform-specific problems, including visual rendering problems on Xbox Series X/S, incorrect subtitling on PlayStation, and the removal of a bug that would render the game incompletable due to a rare bug that would occur while trying to obtain a key item during Chapter 12 of the game — You can now swing your knife with reckless abandon....

This official online interactive Pokemon gallery is really cool

Just in time forScarletandViolet Pokemonis coming up on its 30th anniversary in 2026, and it’s been around for longer than some of you have been alive. A spiritual successor to Banjo-Tooie by ex-Rare, you say?

“Let’s make the spiritual successor toBanjo-Tooie! Core members of the original team are ready to go. All we need is your support,” reads Twitter account@MingyJongo. Why, that sounds too good to be true! And maybe it is — but I want to believe. “Firstly, [the Twitter] is to test the waters really, about whether anyone would even think making a game that shares that same kind of humour, silly characters, fun game play, great tunes and all that stuff that we enjoy making....

Brad Pitt x Capcom to unleash Dark Void film franchise

Capcom has just announced that it’s come to terms with Plan B Entertainment on the rights to a film based on its upcoming game,Dark Void. Plan B Entertainment apparently being Brad Pitt’s own production company, it’s possible/likely he’ll be the one starring in said film. The project has been billed as a sci-fi action franchise, and I’ll let the word “franchise” haunt your imaginations on its own. Capcom calls the movie a “potential starring vehicle” for Pitt, and given he’s not such a bad guy, maybe it won’t be such a bad movie....
